CTpos for cafés and restaurants

Quick keys for what you sell most, sales without a customer, card on the terminal and a business day that fits late opening hours.

The CTpos till with basket, item groups and quick keys

What you get

  • The till opens with the item grid and quick keys, and a sale needs no customer.
  • Park a sale, serve the next customer and pick the sale up again afterwards.
  • Campaigns such as "x for a price", bundle price and "buy 3 pay for 2" are calculated automatically.
  • Card on the terminal, MobilePay recorded on the till, and cash in euro at today's rate with change in kroner.
  • Opening hours past midnight and a fixed day change, e.g. at 03:00, so night sales belong to the right day.
  • Several tills can share one network printer, and discount limits are set per role.
  • Order
  • Hand-over
  • Quick keys

Coming later

  • Cloud payment for restaurants, e.g. at the table

Questions and answers

Can we sell without choosing a customer?

Yes. For cafés, sales without a customer are on from the start, and the till shows the quick keys first.

We are open past midnight. Which day does a sale count on?

You decide under Opening hours. Automatic changes the day at closing time when you close after midnight, or you choose a fixed day change, e.g. 03:00. Reports and the transfer to accounting follow the business day.

Can we run offers like "coffee and cake for 45 kr"?

Yes. Create a campaign with a bundle price or "x for a price" in the back office. The till calculates it and prints the campaign name on the receipt.

Can the terminal take tips?

Yes, when you turn it on in the back office: the customer adds a tip on the terminal, or the clerk enters it at the till. Tips are not turnover – they are shown apart on the receipt, in the Z report and per staff member.

Can the till send orders to the kitchen?

Not today. CTpos is built for counter service, where the customer orders and pays at the till. Table management and kitchen orders are not available.

Can guests pay in euro?

Yes, in cash. The till shows the amount in euro at today's rate and rounding from the back office, and change is given in kroner.

Can two tills share a printer?

Yes. A shared network printer gets each print in one piece. If it is busy, the till tries again and otherwise queues the print, so nothing is lost.
